Although I do recommend this item, I have had a big issue with this (or any) bodysuit. I love how it feels and how it makes my body fit better into my work uniform, but I do not like the fact that it is quite a task to remove it if I need to use the ladies room. In those moments in life when nature is calling quickly, the hassle of unhooking everything from the bra is a bit of a hassle. Unfortunately I decided not to wear my bodysuit to work any longer because of the time it has taken me to detached and attached the bodysuit. If I could recommend an idea, it would be to have an easy way to open the bodysuit from the bottom (between the legs), like using "Hook & Eyes" so the ladies could use the restroom in a timely manner.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mimicalix straps are so hard to use and the garment should be under knee lenght
i have been using spanxs for years now. My favorite one is the Super higher power like the pantyhose. The only problem They riped easily and you cant return them even before 30 days of purchase. and i think all of them should be made to reach under your knees . the mid tigh looks horrible under anything you wear

Rated 4 out of 5 by G1975 Toss the straps!
I've been wearing this for years, usually every day. I had to write a review to give a tip to everyone having issues with the straps provided by Spanx - throw them away the second you get it!
They don't work and no matter how honest you are about your size the garment is going to roll down because of those loosy goosy straps. I know this sounds strange and possibly uncomfortable (it's really not), but I use extra long twist ties and only in the front and back (forget the sides, if you use twist ties and secure the front and back close to your bra you can tuck it under on the sides and don't need side straps). I don't pull and tug on my Spanx all day and it stays where I put it. Just saying....

Rated 5 out of 5 by Ruth12345 Great for post-surgical compression and shaping
The medical post-surgery garment they gave me after my tummy-tuck didn't fit well and also the zips and clasps caused pain and dreadful bruising on both sides. The nurse recommended spanx when she saw me earlier this week, and I went straight to the spanx store in Tyson's. The assistant Thoa there knew exactly what I was talking about and got this garment out for me right away and helped me get it on correctly. What bliss in comparison! I am still getting the compression and shaping needed but in complete comfort and the bruises from the doctor's garment are healing.

I have bought this item 3 times because I wear them so much I wear them out! I do recommend hand washing them, and I just cut the cotton part out. I am 5'5 245lbs and I chose the 1x due to my shape, and I like the extra compression. the only thing I don't like is the way it fastens around the bra, I feel like its too hard to get on by yourself, and I feel as if the straps to hook to the bra aren;t short enough. Other wise, love it!

Rated 2 out of 5 by suckitin Could be better
This was my first SPANX product I ever ordered. My wedding was coming up and I needed something to wear under my dress, that wouldn't be seen. I thought this was the perfect solution. It was not. I am a dress size 16 and an xl is what I was labeled under.
My butt and hips looked amazing!
I had no troubles with the gusset
very hard to pull up
cut into my thighs (should be made down to knee, or stopped at crotch)
straps are near impossible to put on, even with help
the straps pull my bra down where its connected, creating this weird look and the top of the shaper rolls down where there arent any straps.
the thighs roll up. I ended up hiking them all the way up into my groin area and being uncomfortable.
The thigh makes the courderoy sound if your thighs touch.
There should be 2 more straps on back where your "back fat" is so it can be held up, not a clip over your spine where it doesn't need support.
I still love spanx and I came back and ordered a different type and I love it. Will be buying another pair.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Susan1969 I love it!
I'm 5'6" and 130lb and my measurements are 36/27/36. I ordered a small and it fits perfectly. I wanted some compression to support my back and core since I have had a full spinal fusion. I pair it with one of the Spanx tank tops and I am in heaven! I have better posture now and no jiggling going on under my scrubs at the hospital. The compression from the tank top didn't cause any of the rolling down other women are complaining about. I wash them with Woolite and cold water on the delicate cycle and lay them flat to dry.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Maddi Uncomfortable, rolls down..
I love Spanx and this was my third purchase. I bought it in an XL just to be safe and still feel it was a little small and hard to put on. Initially after putting it on it looks great, but while you're out and about it rolls down like crazy. I'm constantly worrying about it or leaving the room to fix it... again. When it rolls down you can see it through your clothes too, which is unflattering and uncomfortable! I've also had to roll/fold up the legs on a few occasions because you could see it under my dress, and I never wear super short dresses! I had never had that problem with Spanx before. Also as a few other reviewers said, it's impossible to go the bathroom with it on. You can't do it without making a mess, and who wants to deal with that? You might as well take the entire thing off (hassle!) Overall I was not impressed with this product, especially for the price!
