I purchased a pair of Spanx in 2009 and they lasted til 2014, no problems, I just purchased Skinny Britches Capri and the second day they got a hole in them and the hole of course keeps getting bigger, you pay $76 and expect this should not happen, will not purchase Spanx again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by DKCMO Great smoothing but tears too easily.
This shape wear is medium support and smooths nicely. Some shape wear is too tight and just squeezes too much and doesn't look flattering on me. This piece is perfect for smoothing. It tears quickly and should last more than a few wears for the price. I am 5'6" 128lbs. Curvy. Small waist thicker thighs. I wear medium. No problems with waist but bottom does roll up behind knee. Worth avoiding the thigh line on the mid thigh shape wear.

Rated 5 out of 5 by sis52 this product was great. Just what I needed
I had lipo on my hips, inner and outer thighs and knees. I needed compression from my hips to below the knees and the skinny britches was great. it was light, not binding and gave me the right support I needed. I would recommend this product to anyone.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Katie67 Excellent for large thighs--no line!
When this product arrived I was surprised. It seemed so thin I was sure I would ruin it in a couple of wears. I actually was afraid to wear it and saved it for awhile. But I have had it for at least 2 years now and wear it A LOT! I carefully handwash it and of course am careful putting it on. I am buying a new one today because I have stretched it out from wearing it so much, but there is not one hole or run in it, which honestly surprises me given the heavy use. There is just no other product from anyone that is as good as this. I have squishy large thighs and I can't wear lightweight pants without some kind of support underneath. I even wear this in hot, humid summers because I am vain. It is thin enough to tolerate. In the winter I wear a heavier, less expensive shaper. But for lightweight spring, fall and summer clothing this is the BEST! I hate to admit this but I even wear it under yoga pants which I wear to school pick-up (you know, like all the other mothers who are not really on their way to or from the gym). The silkiness of the material is very nice because clothing will not stick to it, it adds NO bulk, and clothes glide over it. I also wear it under jersey maxi-dresses for a smooth look.
I am 5'7" and wear a size 12 and I have an XL because I am VERY hourglass in shape. I am ordering a L this time for a little more support. It may not last as long this time, but I know it's worth it.

Rated 2 out of 5 by PollyT Skinny Britches:
I have purchased two pairs of this product at $68.00 each, as I needed them after a surgery. Both split just below the seam in the panty area. after less than a week.

Rated 4 out of 5 by StaciM I love these
I love these! They give you the smoothing look that I want in pants, and there is no bulge on the thigh like ALL the other spanx I have tried, because they go down to the calf.
I have tried a lot of all sorts of smoothers including spanx, if you have a large thigh for some reason they are going to bulge at your thigh and you can see that through your pants. When Im sitting I can see it and it drives me crazy.
I give this product 4 stars primarily because I live in AZ, and in the summer they are impossible to wear, I love them for the winter!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by val56 silky smooth
I am really impressed with this product. It's not too tight or too loose; it's true to size. It's also very lightweight and not hot. It makes my slacks glide over my legs. I love this product. I'd like to find something similar in a slip.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Shen Big Disappointment
Of all the Spanx products I've bought over the years, these are the most disappointing. First, there is virtually NO support - I thought these would fit like a longer version of the Power Panties, which cut into my thighs and show a major bulge. Even though the Britches solve that problem, I really want that extra support. Second, the material is quite thin and runs and tears easily - I poked a thumb through them within a week; by the end of the month I couldn't wear them anymore. I am surprised and very disappointed in the quality of these Britches and I do not recommend them.
On a side note, I have just tried the Extended-Length Power Panties and they are nearly perfect - great support and no more bulging at the thigh. I'd give them five stars if they were capri-style to cover my chunky knees. I highly recommend the Extended Length if you are looking for a longer leg length and great support.
