Rated 4 out of 5 by Tutti Best for Me
The Slimcognito short works best for me. After turning 50 the pounds seemed to stick to me. Spanx to the rescue! My tummy is smoother, no panty lines, more shapely derrière...what more could a woman want? The thighs stay flat to the leg and don't roll up. The waist rolls down a little; however, is not a big deal and still adds shape to my waist. Over time and many washings the seams have begun to come apart, especially at the waist, but is it reasonable to expect any clothing item worn weekly to stay perfect and together forever? I think not. So, I am purchasing more Slimcognito shorts. They make me look and feel my best in all my skirts and dresses!

DOES NOT hold as well as the first one, cheaper fabric and they raised the price? it rolls up at the waist and has no support., I have been using the first version over 6 years. I own 7. I am very disappointed. It was a waste of my $72!

This used to be my go to shape wear and I've been purchasing them for years. This item does not have the same quality nor shaping capabilities. The fabric ripped after one wear near the panty area, the thighs ride up a bit, and there is piling on the sides of the shaper after washing once on delicate. The size I got was the same as I've been purchasing for years and there has been no change in my shape to justify fit and rips.
This is an expensive piece and I expected the same quality that has made me such a fan of Spanx. I wish the old design would come back.

Rated 1 out of 5 by JillK This product USED to be great
and I bought them over the past few years. Very durable (I could wash on gentle) and slimming. They have changed the fabric because it now doesn't hold up to washing and was pilling and not holding after a couple of washes. I don't know what they did but it increased the product by $10 and certainly didn't improve it. So, now I am shopping for the old model on eBay so I have them for awhile yet.

Rated 2 out of 5 by hawp Fit & feel are good but falls apart at stitching
The fabric, fit and feel are very good. I loved it when I first wore it. But unfortunately it began to unravel at the seams after the 3rd wearing. Then within a week or two the stitching failed and now the waistband is falling apart. For the price I would expect this to last much longer and not come apart so quickly. If the quality of construction can be improved, I would be interested in trying it again. Until then I will look for something less expensive, since price does not seem to guarantee quality and I do not believe in throwing garments away after being worn once or twice.

For this to be categorized as super-duper it does not behave as other super-duper shapewear I have purchased. Way too much money for this and really disappointed. Found another mid-thigh shapewear that works much better for less money. Don't buy this one if you are looking for super-duper support or control

I really like this Spanx for ultimate support. Proved the same or very, very nearly the same support as a more traditional super strong non-Spanx 'girdle,' but with much more comfort. I think this $72.00 model is a bit better than the similar $32.00 model. I hope it holds up better too, for the money. I've had gastric bypass and lost a lot of weight, and this really does the trick, even for me. I call these a 'tummy tuck in a bottle,' so to speak!

Rated 5 out of 5 by ra26 Love how it slims, love the fabric
I bought these to go under my wedding dress. I needed a fabric that wouldn't catch on silk and this is great.
According to the size chart I was a medium, but it fit big so I ordered a small instead, and the fit was better.
