Rated 1 out of 5 by Nicthommi If it's not broken, don't fix it!
This replacement for the original power panties gets a big thumbs down from me. They are way more constricting, which seems unnecessary since there are plenty of Spanx products that provide more control, and they do not last AT ALL, which is pretty pathetic for a product that costs $30.
The old power panties were comfortable for every day use, and provided just a smidge of smoothing. It's not really comfortable to wear higher control products all the time, and they aren't fun to walk around in.
I miss my own power panties and will have to see if someone else makes something to fill the gap left by Spanx deciding to change its design and material on this one.

I couldn't even put on the item, it was so small! Other ones of this size fit so I don't know why this one didn't.

by SpanxterS247A My everyday go to
This product has replaced my panties. I wear them almost every day under my work dresses. Tucks in my lower belly and keeps everything in its place.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Nearnormal Seams tear at first or second wear
I purchased two pair of the panties for my work dresses. I wore the first pair twice. During the second wear, the seam in the leg ripped about six inches, exposing a big bulge on my thigh. I wore the second pair the next day and the same seam ripped as I was putting them on (ugh) and after the second or third wear, other seams became unravelled. I still have them, but can only wear them when I wear loose fitting clothes.

I'm afraid the ladies at Spanx just don't get the problems of the pear shape. :) It's not their fault--they probably have nice firm gams (jealous!)
The thing about thick or flabby thighs is that the excess flesh covers the whole thigh area. It doesn't magically firm up mid-thigh. The best cut for those of us who need thigh-trimming is just below the knee or capri-length. Anything higher leaves an unsightly BULGE. Note: There should not be a tight band at the bottom to hold the capri in place because that too can create a bulge and constrict circulation.
What would be great would be a short that has firm support on top, with a gradual loosening to basically zero-compression, ending in laser-cut leg openings with a thin latex strip to keep the bottoms from riding up. That would be a perfect short for problem thighs!

Rated 1 out of 5 by Debi57 This product is disappointing
Purchased this product to wear under my gown for my sons wedding.
Well sorry to say that it was NOT super power to say the least.
I mean it was better than just wearing a pair of underwear and stockings.
But for the price $32 and the NAME it should have done a whole lot more....
My real disappointment is that the seams in the rear and crotch area have torn and come apart.
I Do NOT recommended purchasing this

Rated 5 out of 5 by Thomas Love this product but . . . .
Love this product and have been buying for several years but would prefer to have this product with the extended leg. I noticed you have started coming out with extended leg for other products. When will you come out with the extended leg for the In-Power Line Super Power Panties? I wear shorts that come to right above the knee and with the current product I can see a bit of a bulge where the legwear ends. The extended leg would fix this problem.
