Rated 1 out of 5 by Skinny Britches Not For Big Thighs I am a plus size girl who is a pear shape. I wanted something thin and comfortable to wear for daily use under my maxi dresses. These were thin, I actually LOVED the fabric except for after taking about three steps, they rolled up my thigh. I had to pull them down about every three or four steps and they ripped when I pulled them down. I definitely prefer the ORIGINAL Higher Power Panties and the High Falutin' Footless. May 14, 2013

I might like them better if there was a gusset opening so you wouldn't have to pull down these high wasted britches when visiting the powder room. I would def recommend for light control. May 7, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Disappointed I am 5'4", 104 pounds. I'm slender overall, but I have a bit of a tummy. Under normal clothes I never wear a body shaper, but I bought this High-waisted Short to wear under a fitted dress, to "flatten" my tummy and give an overall smooth appearance throughout the torso. (I bought the size small.) However, the high waist band cinched in very tight and "created" a muffin top where I ordinarily don't have one. And it did nothing at all for my tummy area. I frankly look better in the dress without this garmet...it just seems to create bulges, not disguise them. Maybe I'm just the wrong body type, but this did not work at all for me. April 13, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Good fit This high waisted skinny britches looks good and fits well; except for the back. The front stays up nicely, but the back continues to roll down. It's okay if you don't sit down too much. I would really like it so much better if the back were higher. I even purchased one size larger than I needed because this happened before. Rated 4 out of 5 by Better than I expected! This is my first pair of Spanx I've ever tried, and I was pleasantly surprised. I was expecting them to be super difficult to get on and break a sweat trying to pull them up, but it was really easy. It probably took about thirty seconds and some wiggling around, and they were on. They stay up nicely in the front under my bra-line, I do have a little more trouble keeping them up in the back, though. They tend to want to roll down a little back there, but it's not a huge deal. The legs roll a little bit, too, but as long as they save my upper thighs from rubbing when I'm wearing a dress, then they've done their job. I bought these to wear under a satin bridesmaid dress, and I really felt more comfortable because of them. I'll definitely purchase more Spanx in the future. And about sizing, I wear a size 20 regularly, and I ordered this item in a 2x, which according to the size chart is for a size 22-24, so I'd say maybe order a size up to be safe. But they don't run incredibly small or anything. I bet someone size 22-24 could fit in the size I got, but it might not be as comfortable. April 3, 2013
