Rated 1 out of 5 by Fit Horribly Extremely tight! I tried to put these on and I had to squirm my way into them. My legs were bulging out of the shorts and I am not a heavy set person, I am a size 7. I just wanted some control on my hip and butt area for under tight dresses. These did not flatter my figure at all. May 8, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tight Thighs I bought these in size medium (my size according to the chart, 5'4, 133lbs) and was really excited to try them. When i put them on, they fit great around my waist but squished my thighs so tight they bulged out. I have, what I would consider, normal size thighs. It looked horrendous. I have the Simplicity brand high waisted girl short (also in medium) and do not have that problem at all. I wanted to try the ASSETS brand girl short since they are less expensive than Simplicity's, but I will definitely be purchasing Simplicity's girl short instead after returning the ASSETS brand. Rated 4 out of 5 by great little pant I loved the compression of this pant, however, it emphasized my muffin top more than I wanted so I'm going to order something with a high waist instead. This pant would probably be good for the summer when only a little support is needed, but if you have the least amount of body fat in the waist area be prepared. My BMI is 24.9 so I have just enough fat for a muffin! April 9, 2013

I went off the sizing guidelines but was very disappointed. I will not end up wearing them. Even if I bought a larger size I do not think they would work - very constricting and not flattering. Rated 1 out of 5 by No Not impressed. I am about 5'5, 137lbs, hourglass shape. I just look for something to smooth everything out under my dresses. These did not have any kind of stretch(it was a treat trying to get them on). They also do not come up as high as the picture shows, they basically fit like underwear instead of coming up to just below my belly button like i thought they would. These need some work.
