Okay Ladies...There is a secret that my grandmother taught me after I was complaining about the very same thing I was reading about in all of your posts. What you need to do is wash them by hand and line dry prior to wearing them - I recommend using Mary Ellen's Best Wash because it's not as harsh as other detergents and no softener (I did a lot of trial and error to find the best outcome). Also, watch your nails, I use to ruin pair after pair with my acrylic nails I started putting gloves for protections... ;) On the RARE occasion that I do have a run I carry around a very small bottle of clear nail polish in my purse so at the first sign of a run I just dab a little clear nail polish on it and it stops the run in its tracks. In comparison to other brands of nylons these last 4 to 5 times longer. But once I got the secret I love my Sheers and how great they make my legs look! May 22, 2013

And I just can't afford $26 to wair a pair of hose once. Please find a way to make them more durable!!!! May 20, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Favorite Tights The In-Power line is my favorite Spanx line -- just gives you the perfect line as well. I always buy mine one size larger (I am 5'9", 132 lbs, and buy a Size C instead of B), not as much for the slimming factor, but for the perfect line under dresses. I only wish the sheer fabric was as strong as the Tight End Tights -- makes me crazy when I snag the sheer hose the first time I wear them! May 16, 2013

For all the money I paid, it should have been better quality. I didn't believe other people's reviews, but I should have listened. NOT WORTH the MONEY. May 14, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by Panty porton of hose way too far down leg The panty portion of the hose and tights come way to far down the thigh, unless you are wearing a maxi dress. To Spanx execs: please offer a shorter panty (closer to the below the underwear line) so that they can be worn with current styles and regular-length dresses/skirts. It is quite embarrassing to bend over IN A KNEE-LENGTH DRESS and show the panty portion of your hose! I am a long time Spanx customer, but I may have to shop elsewhere for hosiery that doesn't all look like grandma's stockings. :( May 8, 2013

Just wish we could tell the color better. Nude Is a little light but the other colors look dark or grey .love the fit and the fact that they slim and smooth you without another layer of garment. Rated 3 out of 5 by Shapewear vs shapewear with sheers In hindsight, I would have preferred to purchase a body shaper that simply went from waist to mid-thigh. I bought such a shaper but with sheers attached. The sheers looked attractive under a form fitting dress during their first outing lasting 3 hours while I went out to eat and returned home. On their second wearing, I noticed very small holes in the sheers, where the nylon weave was beginning to give way. Again, they were worn for three hours at the most while I went out to eat and returned home. There was no third wearing - the sheers ran as I began to put them on. Panic. Thank Goodness my Mom had a spare pair of sheers made by another manufacturer. Had I simply purchased shapewear without sheers, I would still have a garment to use in the future. With the sheers running so quickly, I was very disappointed. I have paid for other luxury brand sheers that held up much better/longer before beginning to show signs of wear or running. I would not buy these again. The shapewear did however perform as I wanted it to before the sheers ran - which was to flatten my rear end and smooth the curve at my hips. They also felt comfortable to be in while I was eating out. April 15, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Do not recommend I usually have great luck with these products but this time was not the same. I had them on for a total of 45 minutes before the tight part of them ripped. And that proceeded to the entire leg part ripping off from the top part. $25 was completley wasted. April 5, 2013
