Rated 4 out of 5 by Does what I want it to do I bought this product with the expectation that it wouldn't make me look like a model, but rather would give me a smoother look. This shaper accomplished that and I was fairly comfortable when I wore it the first time for several hours. I did notice that the front part of my underarm was becoming irritated. I discovered that it wasn't that the underarm area was not made big enough. It was that the straps had slipped a little bit from their original position and the shaper rubbed on the front part of the underarm. I will continue to wear this shaper because it is well made and doesn't make me feel I am wearing a corset. But I will have to experiment and see if I can position the straps so that they won't slip and cause the shaper to irritate my underarm when I wear the shaper for an extended period of time. Rated 3 out of 5 by No straps! I have a couple of these and wear them often. The only thing I don't like are the straps. They dig in and are definitely not made to be worn with a sleeveless top or tank. They need to be inset like bra straps. I have found that if you wear this tucked inside your underwear, it will stay put without much trouble...as long as you don't move a lot. I would love to see this style without straps. Maybe like the shaper that hooks to the bra to stay up. No straps mean no digging into shoulders, no ugly straps showing with cute tops. Please remember, not all women are built the same. Some are shorter and some are taller, so being able to choose a garament made for a long or short torso would be perfect. If it can be done for other women't clothing, why not this garment too? Rated 2 out of 5 by Not good for short torso's I really wish I would have worn this with the tags before washing. Like one other person reviewed "not good for people w/short torso's! The straps cut into my arms and cause red marks and is very uncomfortable. i was also very disappointed in the look under my clothes. I am not a big woman and really thought it would help my sweaters to look smoother. I still had bumps and lumps from my bra and patties, so I guess the one without the open bust would have worked better for me, but I can not afford to buy another one. April 7, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor Quality My previous Spanx purchased through Nordstroms in 2010 was of much superior quality. It looks and feels as though the material used now is cheapened. Had I known this item was changed I would not have purchased it. This item is missing the grippers that held the previous down. It looks like the band to hold it down has been shortened. As a result this item tends to roll and move causing a wrinkle to appear. Previously I would consider your product of high quality, however now the quality is so poor I would not have purchased it had I seen it in the store. April 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Nice piece for everyday wear I"m larger chested 42D so I can't wear the solid spanx cami as it squishes and I can't breathe. This is nice. Straps are slender, but I've experienced no digging in like other reviewers say. Stepping in is the way to go for certain. Stays mostly in place. Its ridden up a few times, but not a big deal. I wish it was a little longer to help with the lower tummy more, but works great under sleeveless to really help give a nice line. Not too tight either - I do wish it was just a little stronger, but very happy so far. I'm size 18 dress so 1X does the job. April 4, 2013
