However, I am having a tummy tuck in a few weeks and was told by the doctor to buy a garment like this for post surgery healing. I decided to wear it before the surgery to try it out. Yes it is snug but it is supposed to compress and slim! My pants that normally fit a little tight fit perfectly after this garment! I love my higher power purchase! May 14, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Great waist smoother I've had this shaper for about a year. It is my go to for most occasions when I feel like I need a little smoothing in the tummy area. Mainly for fitted skirts or dresses. It smooths everything out, but my only complain is that the panty back tends to ride up. Spanx wedgies are no fun! Other than that, I absolutely love it! Rated 2 out of 5 by SOOOOOO SMALL This product does what it says - flattens your tummy. However, the sizing (at least for me) felt WAY off. I am right around the middle/lower end of the height/weight for a size A on their chart. 5'1 ~100 lbs...I'm tiny! So I ordered an A. The bottom where your butt goes fits well, but the waist/tummy part is so uncomfortably tight it's not even worth wearing. I know it's supposed to be tight, of course, but this was unbearable even for someone as small as I. Should have bought one size up. I can barely fit my skinny thigh in this thing let alone the bottom half of my torso. Haven't even been able to wear it since I got it in the mail. May 9, 2013

I checked the size specs and was smack dab in the middle (height & weight) of my recommended size. But oooof....could barely get the thing on and then I knew I wouldn't be able to exist a whole work day with it on. Again, I've had other "compression" type garments but none that was sooooo tight. Rated 5 out of 5 by Helps hide my hernia I'm waiting for hernia repair surgery, so needed something to balance out my bulgy left side. Higher power brief does the job so, instead of being forced to wear sacks until August, I can wear tight dresses and sweaters and not feel self conscious. My confidence is back, and I might even wear them post surgery for certain outfits, though going to the bathroom is not without challenges given how high they sit and how tight they are! May 8, 2013
