Rated 5 out of 5 by Does the job well After reading the bad reviews, I felt I had to respond. I bought this to wear under a dress for a smooth look. It did exactly that. It was hard to get on but it definitely hid the flaws. It did not roll down on me. I never used the straps. This is a great product and I will be buying another. May 5, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by I don't agree with the bad reviews....... I had to write something in this garments defense. I bought this after losing quite a bit of weight. My stomach was not what it should be so I invested in Spanx as I kept hearing about the rant and raves. I know many of you don't seem to agree, but I remember I was going out one night and I got changed infront of my friend. Her exclamation to my other friend was "Wow!!! Look at how flat her stomach looks with the Spanx!!". That had me sold and the following week I went and bought the same thing, but in black. I must admit I do not use the straps, but love the look I end up with. You should give it a try. May 4, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by I love everything except the bra tether. One of the reasons I chose this one was because I like having the idea of a bra tether to keep it from slipping throughout the day. But these bra tethers kept coming undone on me. So much that I would rather detach them (thank goodness they're detachable) and wear it without them. But this item in black worked perfect for the outfit I was wearing (Beyonce Single Ladies Halloween costume). I would recommend it to anyone. March 19, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by Elastic straps are hard to deal with! I returned this product. The elastic straps kept coming off and were hard to put on. The body suit itself moved everything around so much that I didn't have a waist anymore. Overall, I was very unhappy with the item. However, Spanx was very efficient about the return and the refund. Rated 1 out of 5 by great concept This product does have a great concept, however it falls short of meeting expectations. You have to wear with straps because it rolls down without them. Even when wearing straps, shapewear falls down creating a "fat roll" between bra and shapewear. It is very difficult to use the bathroom when wearing with straps. Shapwear is hard to put on since you need to attach straps to bra and shapewear before putting on. Straps often come undone while trying to slip on and throughout the day. I have purchased other Spanx products in the past and been happy with them, however that is not the case with this one. I feel this is a total waste of money and would definitely return it if I had not already worn it. I strongly feel they need to rethink this product! March 19, 2013

Rated 1 out of 5 by Tiny I'm a size 26, so I wear a 3x. I wear Spanx size 3x in a couple other shapers with no problem, but this shaper in size 3x wouldn't even go over my thigh. One thigh! There was no way this was going to get onto my body without extreme pain. It felt like a 1x tops. I can't review the looping mechanism that keeps it from rolling because it wouldn't go onto my body.
