Rated 5 out of 5 by Great for everyday control year 'round. This is my favorite SPANX product and it is also a great value. I've been wearing them for about 4 years. My most recent pairs seem to have longer legs, which I love. They breathe well, move well, and don't make me too warm. They have a great smoothing, tightening effect without crushing me and making it hard to breathe or move! They wash well. Just two caveats: these do not have an extra tummy panel; that's one reason they are so comfortable for bending and sitting. But they do smooth out the tummy well (no hang-over). Second, when you put them on, don't pull from the waist band. Gather them up and pull up from further down. Otherwise, over time, the waist band seam will open and inner and outer layer begins to separate (still wearable, but not as effective). I sometime wear them over cotton panties, but when you wear them alone, it's almost like you have nothing on! May 30, 2013

Rated 3 out of 5 by So disappointed! I ordered a pair of Spanx Power Panties to wear under my sundresses that I was taking with me to Mexico over spring break. I went by the chart when I placed my order and hoped I got the right size. When they came, I couldn't wait to try them on. I expected them to be slightly difficult to pull up, but wow, this was ridiculous. Finally got them completely on and then I wore them while I tried them on under the dresses I was going to wear. The waist band immediately began rolling down, which you could then see under the dress material. I tried them on under my jeans then to see how they worked under denim. I was sorry to see that you could see the edge of them above my knee. So I never wore them and feel that I wasted my money. April 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolute Comfort (even after sittng all day) Wonderful item. Very comfortable and stays put when moving about. Highly recommend for disabled, wheelchair bound ladies. After sitting in my wheelchair all day, the Power Panty remains very comfortable at the end of the day. The only negative feature I found is the inner-layer tends to break away from the waistband stitching in the back after only a couple weeks of use. I like them so well, though, I had a seamstress re-attach the inner layer to the waistband on my older Power Panties using elasticized thread. For my new ones, I have a seamstress reinforce the inner layer at the waistband before my first wear. They last much, much longer with that reinforcement. Suggest Spanx consider strengthening the stitching of the inner layer to the waistband on the Power Panty at manufacturing. Would love for Spanx to make a "high-waisted" Power Panty with the regular cotton gusset. (The cotton double gusset in the Higher Power high-waisted is not comfortable.) April 2, 2013
