Rated 3 out of 5 by So disappointed! I ordered a pair of Spanx Power Panties to wear under my sundresses that I was taking with me to Mexico over spring break. I went by the chart when I placed my order and hoped I got the right size. When they came, I couldn't wait to try them on. I expected them to be slightly difficult to pull up, but wow, this was ridiculous. Finally got them completely on and then I wore them while I tried them on under the dresses I was going to wear. The waist band immediately began rolling down, which you could then see under the dress material. I tried them on under my jeans then to see how they worked under denim. I was sorry to see that you could see the edge of them above my knee. So I never wore them and feel that I wasted my money. April 3, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Absolute Comfort (even after sittng all day) Wonderful item. Very comfortable and stays put when moving about. Highly recommend for disabled, wheelchair bound ladies. After sitting in my wheelchair all day, the Power Panty remains very comfortable at the end of the day. The only negative feature I found is the inner-layer tends to break away from the waistband stitching in the back after only a couple weeks of use. I like them so well, though, I had a seamstress re-attach the inner layer to the waistband on my older Power Panties using elasticized thread. For my new ones, I have a seamstress reinforce the inner layer at the waistband before my first wear. They last much, much longer with that reinforcement. Suggest Spanx consider strengthening the stitching of the inner layer to the waistband on the Power Panty at manufacturing. Would love for Spanx to make a "high-waisted" Power Panty with the regular cotton gusset. (The cotton double gusset in the Higher Power high-waisted is not comfortable.) April 2, 2013
Rated 2 out of 5 by too good to be true? I ordered the size recommended for me, but I dislike the way they fit and the way they make my rear look. Not sure if I needed a bigger size or what but I have never even worn them because of the way I look in them. I have always had a full bottom, no need for a booty pop here, I was born with one. When I put my slacks on over the power panties they made me look like I had a granny butt with no lift at all. It would be great if they left my bottom looking round & lifted without showing the few dimples I have acquired. After all the good hype I'd heard I was totally disappointed. Static cling also seems to be an issue. I realize they are made from the same material as panty hose so I don't know if this can be remedied or not. March 26, 2013
