However, they got a run without too much effort, just pulling them back on after a restroom break. I don't have long nails and hardly wear jewelry. For the price they should be of a better quality. Rated 1 out of 5 by Too small for round girls I sent these back also because (a) I could not subject them to the same rough methods I used to get the tights on, and (b) they were not as big as the tights although the size ordered was the same. As with the tights, vertical stretch excellent; horizontal stretch non-existant. If you are a short glorious pear, they won't work. March 24, 2013

Rated 2 out of 5 by Not as "sturdy" as I would have expected I bought a pair of Spanx tights about 4 or more years ago. I wore them for at least 3+ years before they started to wear out, which was a positve since they are much more expensive than most tights or hose. So, when I splurged again and bought another pair of tights and also these hose, I was disappointed in the quality. Both only lasted with out holes for a couple of wears, not years like my first pair. I still wear my first pair more than the more recent purchase. I won't be splurging again as I feel the quality is not what it was in the past. March 19, 2013

The control top is firm enough to keep everything in place but not so firm as to be constricting. The leg is very sheer and I just love how they feel. No bagging in the ankle or knee; these fit like a glove. I just wish they came in more colors!!! January 10, 2013
