I love this product. It's different than other corsets I've worn over my life. It's not designed to crush you into a shape, it's designed to hold you into shape. It's breathable and light, strong enough to stop she shakes and thin enough to hide under anything!

After reading reviews, I decided to go ahead and purchase a Boostie-Yay. Not sure what size to order, since according to the cart I was between sizes, I took my measurements and ended up ordering a small. Although my daughter had to help me with the hooks the initial time, I have been able to do it myself since then. It was very tight the first few times but then sort of "relaxed" somewhat after that. You have to be careful when hooking it either in the side or front so when you spin it to the back you don't allow the fabric to rip. I have had no problem with that but am careful as I said. I recently had stomach surgery (tummy tuck) and needed to wear a stomach support to help with the swelling and this does the job. I think it's comfortable and holds in my tummy and waist beautifully. Having the hooks in the back allows for my pants, skirts, jeans, to fit smoothly in the front without the bulkiness of other shape wear. I wear it everyday and find it surprisingly comfortable.

I am a size small. The instructions said that the hook and eyes were to be in the back but I had to attach in the front and twist. Too many hooks and hard to twist. While twisting I felt and heard the fabric ripping. Could not wear for long as the bones were digging into my skin and very uncomfortable.

I was very disappointed with the Boostie-Yay. It was easy enough to put on and I really wanted to like it but it was too long and it was uncomfortable to bend over or even to the side. I'm 5'5" and weigh 129 so I think my body is pretty normal so I was surprised when the boned part went all the way up a little past where my breasts are. They weren't happy with that. So, unfortunately, I had to return it. Which was no problem. Back to the drawing board for me.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Laura12 Very disappointing
Was so excited about the potential of this product, but was sorely disappointed. I do not understand how one is supposed to put this on by theirself. Too many hook and eye closures to deal with. Forget about fastening in front and turning around because it is SUPER tight. I guess that is the point. Why can't you develop something similar with a velcro fastener instead of hooks? This is definitely going back! I would like to try a larger size, but they only do refunds. I had a great coupon to use on first purchase, that now is expired. Swapping for a larger size would have suited me better.

Although this product really does hold in the extra fat, the wires that are on it make it very, very uncomfortable to wear for a long period of time. Even just sitting is very painful. However, just standing and for a brief period, it really does work well!

I am 5' 3'' and I weigh 108 lbs. I could not even get this close to fastening it around my waist. I am very petite and thin. As with a few other Spanx products I go up a size now. I fit all the Spanx measurements for small but I end up getting a medium. My measurements arent even close to the Spanx Medium chart. I love them when I get the proper fit. Maybe the Spanx with the most compression isnt for me. I am puzzled by the levels of compression . I am a dancer so I like to wear them to keep my back pain free
