my trouble area on my legs even with exercise is saddlebags. This item helps smooth that out and make my dresses and slacks look so much better on. Yeah!

Maybe again I have ordered the wrong size. I honestly thought this one would hold me in a little better. It cost more, therefore it must work better, right? Well, the material is very stretchy which is a plus and it breathes without making you feel like you can't and that's a plus...but, I just didn't feel like I was smoothed enough. I am going to try the high waisted one and see if that is the problem. I do like the products and no matter how much I tug on them they don't run, another plus. So, in all, make sure you order the right size. Measure once, measure twice, if in doubt, I would order the smaller size if you want a lot of smoothing and the larger if you just want a little.

Liked the fit, the smooth look over hip and thigh, and the feel very much. There's none of that pinching at the inside top of thigh, like I got with other brands. The waist band itself acts like it lost it's elasticity; but it happened the first time I wore it, so I guess it's normal??? So it has a funky fold-over at the waist. I am 5"4 and short waisted.

I like this product, a lot. There just was not enough control for what I was looking for...so that just means I ordered the wrong size (which is what I think I did) or I need a different product. I love all the new Spanx lines and the customer service is A+++! I will just keep looking for the right size. It just didn't hold me in like I thought it would....it is very easy to pull up and down and doesn't make you hurry the day up so you can get out of it as fast as you can...just to be able to breathe. It also doesn't rub your thighs raw. (I have had some other products that did that!) I honestly didn't think that a material that light weight would work, but I have ordered other products that have worked out of this line and they were perfect. Give it a try...make sure to measure.

It does really hold you in, but just the top of the waistband kind of sticks out, almost like it has been stretched out, and like it is too big there only. I actually thought it was defective so I asked about returning it. I was sent another one, but it has the same exact problem. So maybe you could make the waistband a little smaller, especially since it is size small.

I love the regular Assets Mid-Thigh Shaper, have purchased at least 6 of them before. I was expecting a little more control from this one for the price difference but didn't feel it was worth the extra money.

I was super excited when I ordered my first pair of Spanx! I had heard so many great things about this brand. I took my measurements and based on the sizing chart ordered the L. It was like putting on panty hose which was to be expected. What I didn't expect however was that the top would not go above my belly button unless I really stretched it up and it is CONSTANTLY rolling down. I have love handles and was hoping that this would be a great fix for my butt and thighs as well as my handles but it isn't. It is comfortable until it rolls down and then it makes my love handles even worse (since the point, after all is to shape) and the band at the bottom catches on my pants and will bunch up sometimes so I can see the line through my jeans which is gross. I have had the super control mid thigh shaper for about 1 month now and the top folds down even more and is starting to get stretched out from me constantly pulling it up and after 2-3 days wearing it it had runs in it and they just get bigger and bigger I wouldn't recommend this product. I am trying a firming camisole and will post to say if that makes a difference. For what it being on the cheaper end of the Spanx line you definitely get what you pay for.
