Rated 2 out of 5 by Doesnt do muc for an hourglass figure! I bought this to smooth under jeans and shirts. It makes my waist look bigger and my hips look smaller, changing my body shape in ways i dont like. Its loose everywhere, but cuts into my bottom, making distinct lines under my jeans, and after a day of wearing, it rubs and leaves red marks. I didnt want to buy a mid-thigh shaper, becasue they show up under jeans but this is not the solution I was hoping for! April 25, 2013
Rated 1 out of 5 by WORST BODY SHAPER EVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Purchased this item in size small ...it did absolutely NOTHING! I don't know how they get away with charging soo much for such junk. It is definitely all hype. I can commend them on a great P.R. and promotions and marketing team though. I'm returning this and the other 72.00 item I purchased. Instead I am going to the local dress shop who sells a body shaper for 7.99 from what I hear it is amazing! Ms. Blakely needs to go back to the drawing table and reinvent this product because it isn't working. April 14, 2013

Rated 5 out of 5 by If You're Short or Short Waisted Go Smaller I am 5'5 but I have a short torso. I normally wear (depending on what it is) anywhere from a size 8 to a size 12. I ordered the medium and the large. I kept the medium because the large was so long even after adjusting the straps. There was not a large difference in width between the two but the difference in length was huge (at least 2 inches). March 30, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by amazing!! I say this piece is amazing because It's beyond me how this thing works so good. I'll start with my stats, I'm 5'4", 175 lbs. My fat is pretty evenly distributed but I have a lot of extra fat on my back which is horrible, I also expand to the sides not forward. 1. I bought this in a medium and did not go on without a little fight but once it did it fit great, I did have to adjust the straps so that I had no bulges at the armpits, I loved that I could do that, complete coverage. It is extremely comfortable and it breaths so well, no itchiness like other pieces I've used. OK I have to say that I have used bodysuits ($30 at Target)for a couple of years to keep everything "smooth" and they were so uncomfortable and I thought that was just how it was and I dealt with it. I bought this on a whim and I was a bit concerned about the price, but I gave it a shot because I needed a new one and I've heard good things about Spanx. I LOVE THIS THING! WORTH EVERY DOLLAR! It felt so good I thought for sure it wouldn't make a difference when I put my clothes on. Well, all I can say is, I put my skinny jeans on and NO LOVE HANDLES NO PANTY LINES, I felt skinny in my skinny jeans lol. Its strange but this piece makes me feel and look thinner, I'm actually eating less and a bit healthier, I may lose some weight Lol. BUY THIS!! March 27, 2013
Rated 4 out of 5 by Love the open bra concept I was looking for something that I could wear under form fitting clothing and wear my own bra without smooshing my bust down.. It fit well in the torso and did help smooth my midsection but lost some of the compression up towards my bra line so that I did have some bulge before my bra. I did not notice any bottom lift. I am not big by any means 2/4 but after having my third baby was looking for a little support keeping my tummy tight. I did wear it all day but by the end of the day it became uncomfortable and I wanted to take it off due to it digging into my shoulders..I have yet to find the right strap length to stop that from happening. Overall I would recommend for short time periods for normal to long torso-ed ladies who need just slight compression in the midsection. March 19, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by LIFE SAVER! I bought this to wear for my brother's 4-day wedding for those 10 lbs that never shed off and this product did the trick! I wasn't constantly self-conscious about my body when I wore the open-bust body suit under my clothes. I thought it would be bulky, but no it clinged onto my body tightly, held all the lumps and bumps tight together, and I wasn't hanging-out everywhere! It was serioulsy a life saver! I enjoyed the wedding only because of this product because I was able to focus on other things besides my fat bubbling out. I don't write a lot of reviews, but I knew once I got home from this 4-day wedding I was going to rave about this purchase! It's the best decion I've made yet. I wore it all 4 days and then some. It also helps my posture and lower back pain because tummy is held tight. Although the wedding is over, I can't go a day without this body suit. I'm hooked on how it makes me look and feel. I'm buying 2 more. I tried other brands, but the fit and level of control and comfort didn't compare. Thank you Spanx for making such a life-saving product! May 2, 2013
Rated 3 out of 5 by Recommended unless you have a short torso! I am 5'2" and have a very short torso (my hips and ribs are only a couple inches apart). I find that I get rolls of fabric and often have to pull it up or pull it down during the day. I lost 140lbs, so I use this to keep the loose skin in check. I really could use an XS, but I can't find one anywhere. I also feel like this doesn't have enough support in the derriere area. For the most part, its great. I love the opening to wear my own bra and the bunching up isn't horrible. It is annoying though, and if I had realized it would do that I probably would not have bought it. March 12, 2013
