There is absolutely NO give to it and I can't wait to take it off when I wear it. Very binding in my band size; if I go up a band size, it slips. I wear it often with clear straps (bought from another store) and it's somewhat bearable w/the straps but today I've worn for 1/2 a day w/o straps and I can't wait to take it off (which will be as soon as I've finished writing this review). I feel like it will fall down at any moment. I've had 2 other Spanx bras which I loved (HIGHLY RECOMMEND Bra-llelujah!® Underwire Contour Front-Closure Bra - it's heaven - super super comfortable). Alas, my search continues for a comfortable strapless bra because this one failed! May 9, 2013
Rated 5 out of 5 by Changed My Life I read the reviews and wondered with the negative ones, what the problem could be because this bra is amazing. The only thing I can think of is perhaps these ladies got the wrong size? In terms of stretching out after a couple of weeks...thankfully I don't wear a strapless bra very often, so mine has stayed in great condition. I have D breasts, and let me tell you that I had basically given up on spaghetti strap and strapless garments. The reason being that traditional strapless bras either didn't have enough support, slipped down, or pushed my already ample chest up and out so much, I ended up looking ridiculous, and then the garment didn't fit. This is an expensive bra, but for me so worth it. As of last summer, I can proudly wear any thin-strapped or strapless item I want. I don't even have to use the detachable straps that come with b/c this bra is supportive enough all on its own. It's so comfortable, I forget I'm wearing a strapless bra after I leave my dressing room. And for me, I feel like it has a minimizer effect, that actually makes my top half look slimmer. The only draw back is your puppies don't move when you have this on. And I do like to have as natural a look as possible. But considering how well it works in other ways, I don't mind that much. Rated 1 out of 5 by did not work for me not sure if i got the wrong size or if it is my cup shape but this bra did not work out at all. i was bummed b/c it got such rave reviews and i love wearing strapless in my day to day (i live in a hot climate so i am always wearing tanks - and i loathe tanks with straps showing). did not like the side view - the shape was not natural. my quest for the perfect strapless continues.
