      Rated 4 out of 5 by Shape changing experience! I am one size larger on the top half than the lower, so wearing my own bra means I do not have to make any compromises for the rest of my body. The Simplicity smooths the lumps on my back and under my armpits, absolutely a winner. The shoulder straps tend to dig slightly into my armpits but worth the discomfort for the all over cover. My one gripe is that the crotch strap is not wide enough to accommodate a panty liner for hygiene purposes, this would avoid the need of additional protection on certain days of the month!       Rated 3 out of 5 Comfortable but Band Line on Leg I am a plus-sized hourglass figure and wear dress sizes between 16-20 depending on the cut. I purchased the 1X based on the measurements in the size chart despite being on the high end of the hip measurement range. The 1X fits perfectly -- not difficult to get on, comfortable, but doesn't feel like the "super" slimming power stated in the description. The slip feels more like a medium slimming power if I'm comparing it with the super slimming mid-thigh shapers. The bottom hem does ride up just a couple of inches if I'm walking around, but the "sticky" band on the hem does work to keep the slip from riding up further. Two drawbacks to the slip in my opinion -- cost is very expensive and the "sticky" band along the bottom hem does create a bulge on my thighs that I can see through the dress when I walk. Very disappointed in (and self-conscious of) the thigh bulge. If I was wearing a more fitted dress, then I would choose to wear the mid-thigh shapers and the open-bust tankini to get more slimming support and avoid the thigh bulge. May 15, 2013

      Rated 5 out of 5 by perfect fit &easy to put on I needed something to wear to my niece's wedding. have gained too many lbs and wanted to at least look smooth ( no obvious rolls) this fit perfectly was easier to put on than other products I've tried it stays in place and the built in pantie of course helps with over all smooth look. At first I was a little worried it was going to be very firm and constricting as it was a little difficult getting on (I chose my size using Spanx sizing chart), but once I had the slip on properly, I was relieved and happy just how comfortable it was - though firm was not too tight or constricting at all. Just loved the sleek lines this slip gave me under my evening dress. So happy with my Spanx. Do think there could be a better option for closing the inbuilt panty than the hooks & eyes though. Sometimes we forget how we let our bodies "hang out" and Spanx really does remind us how great we really can look.. It is so good to be able to wear my own bra with the garment.       Rated 2 out of 5 by Less than I'd hoped for I've heard of Spanx for years and finally purchased this on line to wear under my dress for a wedding event. Though I liked the ability to wear my own bra, other features were not helpful. The item arrived quickly and packaged nicely. But, it unexpectedly featured panties; since I was wearing pantyhose, this was not really helpful. Further, the panties opened and closed with a hook and eye; that's very difficult to deal with in a bathroom stall with no glasses to see the hooks. Also, the slip, though it did not curl up, did ride up; it just started out too short. There should have been an option for a longer slip for older women, like me. April 13, 2013
