Rated 3 out of 5 by Runwoman26 A little disappointed.
I gave three stars because I will probably keep these but not wear them as often as I hoped, and it's a lot of money to spend on something you only feel average about. If it weren't for the weird seam line going across my butt cheeks like panties that ride up, I would have given 5 stars. I'm not sure why the bum is like that. It's uncomfortable to me. But I have bought other products from spanx that I've liked very much. I wanted to love them but I'm "bummed" out.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Marja Legs of panty do not fit well and ride up.
I was looking forward to this as a great summer option. The panty portion fit great, however the legs did not. If your thighs are a little "chubby", they did not stay down. During the day they were constantly riding up and were very uncomfortable. I am used to the fit of the original longer leg panty and I guess I assumed these would be similar but they were not. I did not like this fit at all and would not buy this style again.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Kelly1725 A basic go-to
This was my first Spanx purchase and I'm relatively pleased. I am a tall female, athletic type size 10. I purchased this item to avoid the thigh-rubbage when wearing a skirt or dress. It doesn't go too long on the thigh, or too high on the waist. I will probably be purchasing a second pair.
My only downside is that the legs do roll. After wearing for a few hours, the seams on the legs begin to roll up and need to be adjusted. Kind of annoying, but still tolerable considering it does the job for me.
I went into a spanx store looking for something not too long, not to short, not too high on the waist, and not too tight. The sales associate was very helpful. I would go back to the retail store for all future purchases.

Rated 1 out of 5 by VaBeaner AWFUL - hate to be negative!!
I bought these (with the help of a sales clerk) who said they don't ride up. Not only did they ride up all evening but the waist band rolled down. I was fussing all night and could not wait to take them off. My boyfriend was laughing at me because I had to excuse myself 7 times from a 4 hour party to adjust. I am going to try and use hairspray to see if they stick to my leg that way next time. If not, throwing them out. Waste of $50. I am a size 4 and don't think S, M, or L would have worked.

Rated 1 out of 5 by dearie GIRL SHORT
SIMPLICITY @girl short is NOT the original GIRL SHORT I have worn for years. I have been so happy with this under garment because it filled the needs of my being
1. tummy control
2.thigh control, not too long, not tight
3.held in the prolapse I am hating
4.room enough for the Poise pad I must use
You sent a product I did not order. I am hoping the BARELY THERE
look alines will work.

Rated 2 out of 5 by AMCJ Waist seam causes rollover, some leg roll up
I like the shorter length of these girlshorts, but the waist does not have a smooth fitting band. Instead, it has a tight seam that cuts the waistline, causing any waist fat to roll over this seam. I actually cut notches in the waist seam so it did not cut in so much. Why doesn't the waist fade into a smooth seamless top of the panties like the old girlshorts? The legs are OK. They do roll up sometimes but no worse than other shapewear. I loved the way the older girlshorts were made, but the new version is not as nice, especially that waist seam that is not only visible, but cuts into the waist.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Yve24 Not like the picture.
I chose this style because of the high ratings. For me it did not sit on the waist, but much higher. Did not want a smaller size as I do not like anything tight. Ended up sending it back.
