Rated 5 out of 5 by Peach53 Comfortable bra
I love the fit of this bra. The underwire is necessary for me, but it doesn't pinch & I can wear all-day. The straps don't fall down either & also am comfortable. I wear a 40D & appreciate that Spanx makes this in my size!
Looks great under all my tops & outfits, too!

The bra fits me perfectly - but it is somewhat different to the way they were before. I feel that the fabric has changed and although very comfortable does not hold as well as some of the older ones. I also feel that the straps are not as sturdy feeling. Tell me if I am wrong about the changes. The clasp is smaller too.
The original was amazing so maybe not fix something that was not broken.

I absolutely love this bra. I ordered the first with some trepidation and have now ordered 3 more. This is my new favorite bra. It's just as supportive as my 'granny' bras but so much more attractive and comfortable.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Susan64 NO coverage
I was delighted to find a non-padded version of the Bra-llelujah and so disappointed when it arrived. It is not just "non-padded"--it is one thin piece of material in the cups. There is no nipple coverage whatsoever, which makes it non-viable for me. I wish Spanx would create a Bra-llelulah that is in-between--not hugely padded, but that does coverage any nipple exposure.

This bra was too small for the size and fit poorly. There is NO coverage for modesty. I returned it.

It's a nice bra, smooth back, good for snug tops. My smooth-back bras all have molded cups, bec. I get nippy and try to conceal it. I bought this bra to wear under bulky sweaters - autumn is coming! - because a friend showed me hers after I remarked that she looked thinner. I want to look smaller, so I thought, give it a try. But one cup wrinkles. Pity because I do like the bra. Note: according to my friend, this bra stretches out. She has to keep replacing hers, a couple per year. It's worth it to her, bec. it does the job so well. My smooth-back bras from Soma also stretch out - it's evidently unavoidable with this smooth-back style.

I really, really hate writing negative reviews, but in this case I felt I had no choice. After trying both a D and a DD-cup in this style my conclusion remains the same for both cup sizes: poorly made, no support, uncomfortable (one too small, one too large), and oddly cut.
No matter what I did the bra would show either under my armpit, askew from my tank top straps, or along the bust-line. There was absolutely no way to keep this bra hidden under my clothing (and I by no means wear revealing tops). The underwire in the larger cup size was so high on the outer sides it dug painfully into my armpits.
Even with underwire, there is virtually no support with this bra. The center is cut wide, meaning the breasts are pushed apart in a sense, creating very odd-looking cleavage (or lack thereof). With the D-cup I had an indention along the top of my breast and I spilled out under my armpits, while with the DD there was so much extra material it wouldn't lie flat under my clothing and bunched up.
The workmanship and quality leaves much to be desired. After wearing the bra approximately 5 hours only twice the back began to lose its elasticity, buckle, and "ride up", while the cup material became even more loose, causing a strange "sagging" affect. With the underwire somewhat supporting and the material giving absolutely no support this created an extremely unflattering look: much like Snoopy's nose pointed downward (odd indeed).
The only saving grace of this bra has been the wide, solid straps of the DD, but without collaboration from the cup material, the straps themselves serve no purpose. The straps of the D-cup had ZERO support and were thin and flimsy. With heavy D or DD size breasts this is a big no-no. A bra should support (isn't that the intention of a bra?) the breasts. The cup material is so thin it offers absolutely no coverage and my nipples were fully visible with both cup sizes, whether I was cold or not. Yikes!
Bottom line for me: if you're looking for support, some degree of modesty, and/or comfort, this is not the bra for you. This will be my last purchase of a Spanx bra. Swimsuits: awesome! Bras: not so much. Hope my review was helpful. :)
