Rated 1 out of 5 by jm1014 ripped after first use
I bought these a little big, because I'm in the first trimester, and figured that I'd like to wear them throughout the pregnancy. After the first wear, they ripped in the crotch. They were big, this shouldn't happen. I'm very disappointed.

This product is good if you are looking for light/medium hold. If you are looking for heavy-duty hold to really suck in your thighs and love handles, I'd suggest the regular maternity Spanx over the Marvelous Mama. I don't have a lot to hold in, so these work well enough under clingy dresses, which is what I wanted them for. These don't have the crotch opening that the regular Spanx have, so be aware that you'll have to pull them down and up each time you visit the bathroom. They are pretty easy to pull up and down though. Much easier than regular Spanx.

Rated 5 out of 5 by funtips Perfect for my body
Finally found a comfortable garment that smooths me through the middle.
I am a male with a big belly and this definitely helps. Everything else I found
automatically assumes you are smaller in the waist than above or below.

Rated 5 out of 5 by cw925 once worked in its very comfortable!
The thigh was tight at first but once I worked it in after a few wears its very comfortable! I'm shorter...5ft 3 and I bought sz 3 b/c I anticipated I would be getting bigger and I'm glad I got the sz I did but the torso is too long for me. I'm only 6 months so ill probably need it as my belly gets bigger. I have the spanx maternity leggings sz 2 and they fit well to my sz now so I hope they last to the end. Prepregnancy weight was 135. Im also glad I got sz 3 in the underwear b/c of the thighs...I didn't have big thighs either so its probably just the material-felt tighter in the begining (not anymore) but def seemless so u can't even tell. I wear em all the time :-)

Rated 5 out of 5 by Bender Best Asset a preggo princess can have!
I was in a wedding, and the bridesmade dress I wore was cream, lace, and TIGHT! In fact, without the Marvelous Mama underwear, I could not sit down in the dress. Now don't take that the wrong way, I don't mean they are tight, constricting shorts. They are in fact the loosest and most comfortable spanx ever. I have big girl thighs and they were not tight at all on them like all other shorts of this nature. I wore them all day (I think from start to finish it was around 13 hours!) and didn't hate them once. I forgot I was even wearing them. I even tucked them under my strapless bra, which helped with the boob sweating (isn't pregnancy beautiful!). They didn't rip, pull, or or cause me any discomfort whatsoever. I will be buying several pairs to get me through the next 3 1/2 months to keep my thighs from touching! Buy with complete confidence all you preggo princesses! To help with sizing, I am 5'6", and weigh, gulp, 192 lbs thanks to this baby boy. I bought a size 4. All of my weight is in my giant tummy and giant thighs/ booty! YOU WILL LOVE THESE SO MUCH!!!!

Rated 3 out of 5 by kellymt Not seamless
These are very comfortable to wear as underwear during pregnancy. Though you can prevent underwear lines in the usual places due to the shorts and high waist, the two seams on either side of the belly show in the front. They also don't actually provide a lot of shaping and support. If you want seamless shape-wear I would definitely recommend the Power Mamas rather than these. However, for a simple pair of underwear these are comfy. I also wish the waist came up a little bit higher on these...but I have a long torso and have this problem with most over the belly clothing items.

It would be better if this product was made for fuller sized women.

These spanx were perfect for keeping it all together. I wear lots of dresses and skirts to work, so these really help with back support throughout the day.
I got a size Large. I'm 5 months pregnant, 178 lbs, 5'5in. and they still give room in the tummy as I grow.
